In September 2015, Norman Oklahoma began their "complete street" project - part of the Cedar Lane Widening Project to create a safe environment for bikers, pedestrians, and vehicles in the same space. Colorized bike lanes begin at 12th Avenue Southeast and extend about a half mile east of 24th Avenue Southeast. The lanes extend along the curbs on both sides of the road.
