Arizona's second largest city, Tucson, is committed to building up the bicycle infrastructure. Ruby Lake Glass installed their first Arizona bike lane on a high traffic and bicycle street going northbound at the intersection of Mount Street and Glenn Street. Working with Ann Chanecka, program coordinator for the city's bicycle and pedestrian program, this intersection was chosen to give drivers a visual delineation from the car lane and the bike lane, creating a complete street lay out.

Ruby Lake Glass uses pulverized color coated recycled glass that is broadcast over an epoxy resin. The high quality pigments will not fade and can withstand the hot sun and high temperatures of Arizona.
